We can post lost and found pets on our Facebook page. Please send us a FB message with as many details as you can and a picture of the found or missing pet.
Tips: How to find your lost pet
Impound Fees
All animal brought in as a stray/found animal will be place on a 5-day stray hold. After 5 days, the animal becomes property of PCHS and the vetting process is started to get the animal ready for adoption. Animals will be place up for adoption once vetting is complete.
Animal Impound Release Fee (First offense)
+ $10 per day for up to 5 days*
*Animals become PCHS property after 5 day stray hold is up.
Repeat Animal Impound Release Fee
+$10 per day for up to 5 days
*Animals become PCHS property after 5 day stray hold is up.
This price applies to any animal that is impounded after the 1st time and is not microchipped. Fee will decrease to $70 if owner agrees to microchip the impounded animal.
Starbuck Police Pick up Fee
This fee is applied only if animal is picked up by the Starbuck police department.
Starbuck City Canine License Fee
All Canines that reside in the city of Starbuck are required to be licensed. If your dog does not have this license, you are required to get one before your dog is released from impound. You must provide your license number if you have already acquired a license for your dog
