We are looking to hire a customer-oriented team player, who is passionate about running the Class Act Thrift Shop in order to raise money for Pope County Humane Society.
Job Summary: Under direction of the PCHS Board of Directors, the Class Act Thrift Store Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the PCHS Class Act Thrift Shop including, but not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
-Ensures a high level of communication/supervision with and maintains discipline and prescribed work performance standards of all staff and volunteers
-Opens and closes the shop and maintains daily operations as outlined in policies and procedures manual or delegates these duties to appropriate staff.
-Oversees all incoming donations. He or she makes sure items are in good condition and are clean and price items.
-Assist customers making purchases
-Occasionally will have to bring unwanted items to the local dump or to a facility such as Goodwill.
-Respond to customer inquiries and questions
-Maintain and update Class Act Thrift Shop Facebook Page
-Other duties as needed to maintain day to day operations of the PCHS Class Act Thrift Shop.
The Thrift Store Manager will also be responsible for attending monthly PCHS board meetings that are currently held every 2nd Tuesday of the month, in the evening. Hours: Thursday and Friday 10am-5pm Saturday 9am-4pm
