You can also stop by the shelter Tuesdays through Sundays 9am-6pm to meet animals w have on site and fill out an application later. Filling out an application ahead of time helps us get to know you and help match you with an animal we think would suit you and your life style.

These fees go directly toward the cost of spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, medications, and any necessary medical treatments while in our care. By adopting, you’re not only gaining a new best friend—you’re also helping us continue to provide quality care and second chances to other animals in need.

Hold Deposit
To place a hold on a pet, call us at (320) 634-4761. We’ll send you a secure payment link by text or email, or you can stop by the shelter to pay in person.
A hold fee is required before we can reserve an animal.
Hold fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, but will be applied toward the adoption fee if you adopt the pet.
Holds are valid for three business days after the animal is cleared for adoption or upon placing the hold. If you decide not to adopt, or do not complete the adoption within that timeframe, your hold fee becomes a tax-deductible donation.
If a pet already has a hold, you may place a second hold to be next in line. The same fee and rules apply, and if the pet is adopted by the first person, your hold fee will become a donation.
We accept up to three holds per animal, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Placing a hold is optional, but without one, we cannot guarantee the animal will still be available at the time of your visit.
