The Annual Furrball: Paws of Hope – Honoring Our Past, Celebrating Our Future will be an evening of celebration, connection, and community in support of the animals served by Pope County Humane Society. Guests will enjoy a relaxed social hour, a plated dinner, meaningful programming recognizing the people who built our organization, and lively entertainment to close out the night.
🐾 Social Hour | 5:00 – 6:00 PM
The evening begins with a welcoming social hour where guests can check in, connect with fellow animal lovers, and settle in for the night ahead. A cash bar will be available, and light background music will set the tone for a relaxed start to the evening. During this time, guests will have the opportunity to participate in our fundraiser activities, including raffle ticket sales. A silent slideshow featuring adoptable pets, memorable moments, and the impact of Pope County Humane Society will also be playing.
🍽 Dinner | 6:15 PM
Guests will be invited to take their seats for a plated dinner. The evening will officially begin with brief welcome remarks before dinner is served. This portion of the evening is designed to allow guests to enjoy their meal and conversation with friends and supporters while preparing for the meaningful program to follow.

Community Thank You
We will begin with a moment of gratitude, recognizing the volunteers, donors, fosters, partners, and community members whose generosity and dedication make our work possible. This segment celebrates the collective effort behind every life saved.
Awards Presentation
The evening will include the presentation of our Paws of Hope Awards, honoring the founding members of Pope County Humane Society whose vision and compassion helped build the organization. Each recognition will share a brief story highlighting the impact these individuals have had on our community and the animals we serve.
Adoption Success Story
At the heart of the evening will be a special adoption success story. Through this feature, we will highlight the journey of a pet whose life was changed through the support of our community, showing the real impact of compassion and second chances.
Fundraising Moment
We will close the program with a short fundraising moment, inviting guests to participate in supporting the ongoing care and placement of animals in need.
